Edward 'Ed' Aycock

 

IRVING - Former Borger resident Edward "Ed" Aycock, 42, died Thursday morning (July 15, 1982) in Irving Community Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Donnelly's Colonial Chapel with Mr. Art McNeese, minister of the South McArthur Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

A native of Stephenville, Mr. Aycock, had lived in Borger many years. He moved to Irving 20 years ago.

He graduated from Borger High School in 1958, Frank Phillips College in 1960, and from North Texas State University in 1962.

He married Shirley Beth Myers on August 23, 1962 in Borger.

Mr. Aycock was a sales engineer for General Electric of Dallas.

He was a member of the South McArthur Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lisa Kris and Robin Leigh, both of the home; one sister, Jan Alexander of Boerne; his grandmother, Florence Aycock, of White Settlement.

The family request memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
