I visited Eddie in the Wheeler Nursing home soon after our 50th reunion. Eddie told me he had changed his name to Eddie Lee after he became a comedy writer. His room at the nursing home had pictures of many celebrities that had written notes to Eddie on them, people he had association with during his years of writing comedy. Eddie passed away in February 2015. I only learned of this while visiting the Wheeler Cemetery on August 22, 2015 and saw his marker.
