Marshall L. Burrell

BURRELL Marshall L., 62, of Ada, OK died in Oklahoma City following a brief illness.

He was born and raised in Borger, TX and received his Bachelors degree from Central State University. He married Mary Pat McGinnis on June 22, 1963.

Marshall worked for 30 years as an insurance claims adjuster and was also a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, the Elks Lodge in Ada and was also active in Kiawanis. He devoted his life to helping children and was a Cub Scouts Pack Master and an active high school band parent. Marshall was also involved with the Coast Guard Auxiliary at Lake Texoma. Boating was one of many things he enjoyed with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife Pat, of the home; sons Mike Burrell of Mustang, his wife Michelle, and their daughter Megan and Brian Burrell of Broken Arrow, his wife Karyn, and their children Vail and Blake, parents Ira Lee and Ella Mae of Amarillo, TX; sister Brenda Phillips of Birmingham, AL, her husband Randy, and their chil! dren Rebecca and Anna.

Contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in the Watchorn Chapel.
