Glenn Dale Long, 64, died Sunday, June 29, 2003, in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Ricky Griffin, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, officiating. Interment will be in "The Garden of Beatitudes" under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Long was born on Dec. 11, 1938, in Asher, Okla. He had been a Borger resident for 55 years. He was a truck driver for Gunn & Campbell for 20 years and for G.P. Guinn for seven years. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Sherry Henderson on Feb. 14, 1980, in Borger. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Gayle Long, in 1979, and two brothers, F.E. "Slice" Long and S.W. Long.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Long of the home; three daughters, Tina Gilstrap of Borger, Carla Vensuela of Los Angeles, Calif., and Regina Alexander of Pampa; one brother, Jimmy Long of Kennewick, Wash.; a sister, Katherine Lovell of Fritch; and nine grandchildren.
