I can’t tell you how thrilled I was to be contacted by Delois (Ferguson) Wallace, who was my best friend in grade school, and Edith (Guynes) Stanley whom I remember with great fondness.

My family moved to CA March of 1953. I met my husband Richard in high school. He is 2 years older than me and we were married June 7, 1958. We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary this year.

Life in CA was very good to us. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

I am retired from a telephone company I worked for in CA. We moved to the AR & OK area for an employment opportunity for my husband in 1993. He retired on a disability in 1995.

I have the 6th and 7th grade class pictures of the class I was in at East Ward School and I can’t tell you how often I looked at every one’s picture after we moved to CA. Even over the years, I have looked at those pictures and thought of every one of you and wondered how your lives were going and where you were.

I hope to see you all at the reunion.

Hobbies are oil painting, photography and cooking.

Born in Pattonville TX. Moved to Borger at age 2. Attended East Ward School until middle of 7th grade. Our family moved to Roseville, CA where I attended Roseville High School.

Met my future husband there who is 2 yrs older than me. His family moved to CA from Kentucky.

We were married June 7, 1958, day after high school graduation.

We just celebrated our 55th anniversary. Richard worked at McClellan AFB in Sacramento.

After our children got older I was employed at a large independent phone company, Roseville Tel Co for over 10 years.

I had a massive heart attack at age 44 that killed 1/4 of my heart, which put me on permanent disability. My doctors still don't understand why I'm still alive.

We live in Oklahoma close to my sister Carolyn and her husband who owns a 2000 acre cattle ranch.

As we are getting older and both of us have severe illnesses and have had major surgeries, we are moving back to Ca, near our kids and grandkids
