James Patrick Spillman

James Patrick Spillman, 74, of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Borger, died November 25, 2014.

Memorial services were December 3, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Committal services were at the Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Arrangements by Sunset Funeral Home.

James was born June 2, 1940 in Rushville, Nebraska to Ford Foster and Viola Spillman. Jim preceded them in death along with a brother Jerrie Ford Spillman and a step daughter Georgiena Hock.

Jim served more than 28 years in the U.S. Army retiring with the rank of Sergeant Major, while stationed in Italy. He was over the dental division there along with Germany, Turkey, and France. He loved hunting, fishing, and genealogy, but most of all his family.

He is survived by the love of his life of 42 years, Aldyth of El Paso; one daughter Jacque Spillman of Florida; two step son Dusty Bliz of Arizona and Rusty Bliz of Ohio; two sisters June Hastings of Abilene, Texas and Judy Trammell of Borger, Texas; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; five sister in-laws and two brother in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.
