David Laroy Swinford

David LaRoy Swinford, 45, of 1223 W. 11th, in Amarillo died Tuesday in his home in Amarillo.

An ICU nurse at High Plains Baptist Hospital, he was a native of Wichita Falls, Tex. and an Amarillo resident for 12 years and a former resident of Borger.

He was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother Edith Wallace of Borger; father Roy Lee Swinford of California; three brothers, Ted Wallace of Inrving, Tex., Norman Wallace of Irving, Tex., and Jimmy Dale Wallace of Amarillo, Tex., one sister, Vickie Kindig of Berryville, Ark.

Funeral services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Services were held for David LaRoy Swinford at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, at the Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church, presiding. Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Swinford, 45, died recently at his home in Amarillo.

An intensive care unit nurse at High Plains Baptist Hospital, he was a native of Wichita Falls, a former Borger resident and an Amarillo resident for 12 years. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by his mother, Edith Wallace of Borger; father Roy Lee Swinford of California; brother, Ted Wallace of Irvin, Texas; brother, Norman Wallace of Irving, Texas; brothers, Jimmy Dale Wallace of Amarillo; and sister, Vickie Kindig of Berryville, Ark.
