JOSEPH CARL "J.C." TIPTON - born January 8, 1939, in Borger, Texas, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord in the early morning of November 14, 2007.

J.C. was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Carl and Jewel Tipton; brother, Billy Joe Tipton; and sister, Betty Ruth Sossaman.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Tipton; daughter, Kimberly Sauceda & husband, Joe; and daughter, Karla Tipton; son, Kevin Tipton & wife, Norma; all of Houston; step-sons, Anthony Esbri & wife, Kathy; and Kenneth Esbri; sister, Maxine Vasseur, of Borger, Texas; grandsons: Dustin Tipton, Samuel Sorenson, Aaron Tipton, Travis Sorenson and Amron Tipton; great grandson, Anthony Sorenson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a man of courage and strength, and had may accomplishments in his life. He was loved and cherished by many and will always remain in our hearts. J.C. will be greatly missed. WE LOVE YOU DADDY!
