Robert “Bob” Williams, 69, of Sanford passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010.

Robert was born Saturday, April 6, 1940 in Broken Bow, OK to Clark & Hester Williams. He married Linda Evinger on March 23, 1963 in Borger, TX. He retired from Agrium as an Operator.

Bob is a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was president of the Phillips Little League for several years. He also served on the Phillips School Board with a portion of his term served as president. He was Swine Superintendent of the Hutchinson County Livestock Show and was selected as a lifetime member of the board. He participated in KIROS and was a mentor in the prison ministry. He was a Mason. Bob greatly enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren in all their various activities.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1977, his mother in 2008 and a brother Tommy Joe Williams in 1986.

He is survived by his wife Linda Williams of Sanford, TX; son Robert Williams and wife Roni of Houston, and children Robbie, Jessica, Alex, Jamie, and Daniel;  daughter Angelia Mason and husband Tim of Mustang, OK and children Chelsea Mason Clement and husband Allen; Tiffany, Dustin, Trey and Timmy; son Bryan Williams of Albuquerque, NM, and son Derek, great grandson Jake Clement. Three brothers Doug Williams and wife Delores of Fritch, TX, Haskel Williams and wife Charlene of Burleson, TX, Jerry Williams of Fritch, TX, sister Sue Wills and husband Melvin of Groom, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday March 10, 2010 at First Church of the Nazarene in Borger with Rev. Terry Porter and Rev. Terry Corbett officiating  Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Williams, Dustin Mason, Robbie Williams, Derek Williams, David Joe Williams, Tyler Williams and Devin Painter.

Family will be staying at AmericInn. Visitors are welcome.
