Albert Jefferson Back of Marion died Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the age of 52.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at Goetz Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Witschorke officiating. Interment will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:45 p.m. Visitation will be held at Goetz after 8 a.m. Friday.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Raye Back of Marion; a daughter, Donna Marie Jordan and husband Jerry of Marion; sons, Thomas Jefferson Back and wife Karleen of Marion and Robert James Back and wife Janie of Marion; his mother, Lois Sartor and husband J.B. of Lovington, N.M.; nine grandchildren; sisters, Janet Turney of Oklahoma City, Okla., Joyce Davis of Arlington, Mary Brooks of Lovington, N.M. and Sharon Carlson of Oklahoma City, Okla; brothers, Clyde Wayne Back of Gallup, N.M., Tracy Back of Pontiac, Mich., and Edgar Lee Back of Pontiac, Mich.; a halfsister, JoAnn Kinchloe of Odessa; and a halfbrother, Billy Ray Sartor of Odessa.

Memorials may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the American Heart Association or charity of one's choice.
