Phillip Gene Blanks, 76 of Borger died Sunday December 25th in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 4:00 pm , Saturday December 31st at Bissell Chapel Cemetery in Newhope, AR. Local arrangements are by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Phillip was born April 26, 1940 in Borger, TX to Jimmy and Ruth Martin Blanks. He was the owner of Hawk Well Service. He loved to work, travel, movies, football, his dog Louie and going out to eat.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Pat Sanders.

He is survived by a son Hudson Blanks of Austin, TX. Daughters Britney White and husband Bert of Nashville, AR; Beranda Blanks of Little Rock, AR and Amanda Rutland of Austin, TX. Sisters Audrey Klaus of Borger, TX; Fran Patman of Borger, TX and Sally white of Pampa, TX. Grandchildren Caney David White, Rhodey Blanks White, Cheyenne Rutland, Hopi Rutland, Mariah Rutland and Dylan Rutland.
