Larry Bowie, 65, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 30, 2003.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James M. Mims, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St.

Mr. Bowie was born Sept. 9, 1937, in Borger. He was a porter at LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

Survivors include four brothers, his twin, Harry Bowie, and Ernest Bowie, both of Amarillo, Bernell Bowie of Los Angeles and William Bowie of Houston; four sisters, Vera Smith of El Paso, Maggie Johnson of Borger, Mattie King of Los Angeles and Erma Mae Bowie of Amarillo; a son of Los Angeles; and a daughter of Los Angeles.
