Roy Eugene Cole, age 82, an Atoka, OK resident, formerly a longtime Amarillo, TX resident, was born on Sunday, October 15, 1939, to Eldon and Ethel Annie (Thompson) Cole, at Stringtown, OK. Roy passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home in Atoka, OK. He graduated from Borger High School in Borger, TX. Roy was a security officer for All State Security Co. and worked for Amarillo Linen Company doing deliveries. Roy proudly served his country in The Army during the Korean Conflict where he was a paratrooper. He married Glenda Sue Mullins at Borger, TX, she preceded him in death. Roy was of the baptist faith. He was a member of the VFW, loved to golf, and play in pool tournaments. Roy entered many tournaments in Las Vegas and other places. Roy is survived by his daughter, Tammy Cole Thompson and husband Matt of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren, Tyler Thompson and wife of Round Rock, TX, Tara Thompson of Round Rock, TX, Nora Thompson of Round Rock, TX; sisters, Joyce Davison and husband Michael of Roy, UT, Renee Wilson and husband Dallas of Atoka, OK; sister-in-law, Brenda Jackson of Borger, TX; nieces and nephews, Doug Jackson and wife Danna of Borger, TX, David Jackson and wife Heidi of Borger, Tx, Denise Carlos and husband Wayne of West Haven, UT, Pam Christensen and husband Chris West Haven, UT, Jacky Bobo and wife Cindy of Billings, MT, John Bobo and wife Felice of Lake Side, AZ, Annette howard and husband Roger of Hooper, UT, Montana Wilson and fiancé Colleen of Atoka, OK, Cheyenne Wilson of Atoka, OK; aunt, Virginia Farmer of Stringtown, OK; along with cousins and other relatives and many dear and loved friends. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Ethel Annie (Thompson) Cole; wife, Glenda Sue Cole; brother, J.D. Jacksonl nephews, Lonnie Logan, Sonny Davison; father that raised him, Shelly Westbrook
