Borger businessman Stonie Dee Ferguson, 59, died Thursday in an Oklahoma City Hospital. Services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Ferguson had undergone a liver transplant at Oklahoma City Baptist Hospital April 28, and had remained in the critical care unit of the medical facility since the surgical procedure.
He had been a bail bondsman and owner of A-1 Furniture and Appliances in Borger for many years. Born in Hatfield, Ark., he had been a longtime resident of Borger.
He and Joyce Greenwood were married July 30, 1955.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; two sons, Rocky Dee Ferguson of Fritch and Sandy Dale Ferguson of Borger; two daughters, Kaylene Dale of Muleshoe; Annadon Keys of Borger; three brothers, Neil Ferguson of Borger and John Ferguson and Clyde, Jr. Ferguson, both of Pampa; five sisters, Sue Yohn, Margaret Graham, Tommie Parkhurst and Kathy Armstrong, all of Borger; JoAnn Durham of Matador; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
