LUBBOCK-Shirley Ann Ross died peacefully at Raider Ranch on Oct. 22, 2015, in Lubbock, Texas, at the age of 75.
Shirley is survived by her husband John P. Ross of Lubbock, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Misty Ross of Lubbock; grandchildren, Kim, Emily, and Jade; her sister and husband, Patsy and David Sharbutt of Lubbock and family.
Shirley was born June 6, 1940, in Durant, Okla., to John J Studdard and Velia Allen. She graduated from Frank Phillips Jr. College in Borger, Texas, with an associate's degree.
She married John P Ross on Aug. 25, 1970.
Shirley retired from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center as an Executive Associate to Dean, and worked previously for T.N. M. & O coaches in accounting, where she met John.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, and the services will be Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, in Resthaven Funeral Home. Richard Rush, of Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Shirley's life.
