SANFORD - Leona Bennett, 57, died Monday, June 23, 1997 in her home in Sanford Phillips Camp.

Funeral services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A native of Whichita Falls, she lived near Sanford for the past three years and had previously lived in Sneed Camp for 20 years.

She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She married Eddie Bennett on Sept. 27, 1960 in Borger. She is a Borger High School graduate.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Bennett of the home; one son, Danny Bennett of Borger, one daughter, Bobbi Bidon of Fritch; two sisters, Bonnie Selby and Lula Faye Landers, both of Stinnett; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle.
