Rufus Whitten

Borger News Herald - Rufus Whitten, 30, son of Jess Whitten, 627 N. Harvey, and sister of Mrs. John Chadwick, 411 Coble, died about 1:15 p.m. in Red River County Hospital in Clarksville June 6, 1970.

Whitten lived in Borger for about 15 years before he moved to Clarksville about six years ago. He attended Borger High School.

Whitten was buried in Annona Cemetery in Annona, east of Clarksville on June 8.

Survivors include his wife, Trudy; one son, Marx, seven of the home; two daughters, Margaret, nine, and Samantha, five, of the home; his father; one sister; and one brother, Richard Whitten of Clarksville.
